Der Alcat Test ist als Ernährungskonzept und Gesundheitsberatung der komplementären Ernährungstherapie zu verstehen und ist KEIN Diagnose- oder Heilverfahren. Die Ernährung allein ist bei Erkrankungen KEIN Ersatz für eine sorgfältige Diagnostik und medizinische Versorgung.
Der Alcat Test sollte daher bei einer Vorerkrankung in Absprache mit einem Arzt /Ärztin oder Therapeut/In durchgeführt werden. Dieser kann ihn integrativ kompatibel in den Behandlungsplan einbauen. Eine gesunde Ernährung nach dem Alcat-Prinzip ist aber problemlos zur Prävention anwendbar.
Wir betonen, dass der Alcat Test KEINE Parameter des spezifischen Immunsystems misst, d.h, es werden keine Antikörperspiegel gemessen und es handelt sich nicht um einen LTT /Lymphozytentransformationstest, sondern es werden zellvermittelte nahrungsmittelbedingte Überempfindlichkeiten untersucht, die vornehmlich durch das angeborene Immunsystem vermittelt werden.
Somit diagnostiziert der Alcat Test KEINE Lebensmittelallergien (Typ 1/IgE – diese müssen unbedingt weiter gemieden werden!) und KEINE enzymatisch bedingte Intoleranzen auf Lactose, Fructose oder Histamin.
Es ist möglich, dass bei bestehender klassischer Allergie oder Intoleranz trotzdem gleichzeitig das angeborene Immunsystem aktiviert sein kann und schliesst somit keine zellvermittelte entzündungsfördernde Reaktivität aus, wie sie beim Alcat Test gemessen wird.
Wir distanzieren uns ausdrücklich von Antikörpertests der IgG Klasse(n).
